Metal Toad's New Offices - A First Look!

In case you missed the news, we've officially moved to our new office at 3rd and Salmon! We're back up and running after an overnight move, but there is still plenty of unpacking to complete. We're already enjoying having a great deal more space to work with than at the previous office.

Next up will be a build-out of the space to make it more functional and fun! We'll eventually have an entry area complete with foosball table, multiple conference rooms, a kitchen, "caves" to go hide in away from the crowd to focus and get work done, multiple offices, and of course the developer pit.

Here's a first-look at the new space, and we'll be sure to do a before-and-after once we have it tidied up and built out.

The Entry

Han Lives!

When you exit the elevator on the second floor, you walk into an entry room and take a left to head towards the conference room and the rest of the office. This room will have a welcome area and foosball!

Conference Room(s)

Conference Room

What is now one large conference room will be split into three rooms: A primary conference room with a large table and projector, a bike parking and storage room, and a smaller conference room for calls and meetings.

The Main Room

Main Room

Here's where the increased space really shows. The main room is huge, and we'll be adding a kitchen and individual caves to this room in addition to the pit.

The Pit

The Pit

The pit is arranged in a similar fashion to the last office, but in a much less cramped fashion. The high ceilings and windows make things feel very light and open. Depending on the developer, this can be a good or a bad thing.

Project Management Office

Our project managers all get to hang out together in a nice roomy office off of the main room.

Joaquin's Office

Joaquin Office

Joaquin's office is next to the project management office and looks out across the vast space available in the main room. Hi Joaquin!

Don't forget Han

Han

Han survived the trip! He's feeling a bit left out in the moment living in the conference room, but we'll make sure he finds a better permanent spot.
