Yes, even SMB customers can transform entire industries. And when you look at customers like Laurel Canyon Live, you can see why I believe in the power of SMB transformation. Laurel Canyon Live's founder has worked with artists ranging from Diana Ross and Frank Sinatra to Justin Timberlake and Carrie Underwood. And by working with media and entertainment partner Metal Toad, they are poised to expand the reach of live performances beyond physical venues.

Think about taking your concerts into your homes, your phones, and into movie theaters. In fact, recently they completed the Taylor Swift eras movie, the tour movie, and the Beyonce Renaissance Concert movie. Let's take a look at the solution behind those amazing experiences.

John Ross:
Laurel Canyon life is the shortest distance between artist and fan. We have to think about there are people that would never be able to experience their favorite artist live.

We're trying to recreate those sort of experiences that you would have in a true live space, and bring that to the end user virtually. Laurel Canyon Live offers the artist the ability to capture their live shows and then distribute to millions of people throughout the world on our app for whatever devices out there, including theaters.

We created the rack that goes out on tour with our artists, capturing up to 40 cameras, 192 channels of 24 bit, 48 K audio. We can take that show, push it up through Amazon Web Services, and we can bring that to you wherever you may be in the world. We're pushing out Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, the highest quality audio in the highest quality video, which I think is a major differentiator.

You can really get that spine chilling effect. It's not a trivial thing getting stuff to the end user. It's around about 300mbps going up to the cloud. Our partner, Metal Toad is the interface between us and AWS. They are the engine room for getting us into the environment. Metal toad makes it very easy for us to concentrate on what we do now.

The amount of people that would like to have access to quality live events. It's massive and we've had the control back to artists.
