I recently started working at Metal Toad. Metal Toad has one of the best onboarding processes I have ever experienced — thorough documentation, there are more people happy to help me than I can count, there are well thought-out processes for onboarding, and just about anything that could be done in advance of my arrival had already been done. Nevertheless, I am drinking from a fire hose in an attempt to answer the following (partial) list of questions:
How does the company function?
In February a few Toads got to travel to Denmark to begin discovery on a new internet of things (IoT) project with a large wind turbine manufacturer. This is Metal Toads first foray into the European market and we couldn't be more excited to be working with a great client and new partner, Danish Aviation Systems. Earlier this week we announced the opening of our Los Angeles office, could a European location be next? You'll have to wait and see!
This session led by Sean Larkin and Andrea Burton of ThinkShout looked at how to avoid competing for RFPs by instead partnering with potential clients in a paid discovery phase to help them scope their exact needs and in turn have a leg up on the competition to win the project.
