Evergent, like many businesses, possessed a wealth of data but needed help to transform it into meaningful insights. The challenge was to analyze diverse datasets and answer critical business questions efficiently. The existing data analysis approach was time-consuming, took days or weeks,  and required more agility for fast-paced decision-making. Evergent needed a solution to streamline data processing and deliver actionable insights to key stakeholders.

Customized Dashboards: Collaborating closely with Evergent's IT team, Metal Toad developed customized Quicksight dashboards tailored to Evergent's business metrics and objectives. This included selecting relevant data visualizations that allowed Evergent's business analysts to extract meaningful insights efficiently.

TECHNOLOGY SOLUTION

Metal Toad evaluated datasets and reporting requirements alongside Evergent’s Data engineers to ensure the diverse datasets were appropriately processed and structured for effective presentation in Quicksight. This involved designing and implementing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to streamline the data flow from its raw form to a format suitable for Quicksight's visualization.

IMPACT

Metal Toad implemented mechanisms to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of data updates within Quicksight. This involved establishing automated processes seamlessly integrated with Databricks, ensuring that any changes or updates to the underlying datasets were reflected in real-time on Quicksight dashboards. This synchronization was vital to providing Evergent's key stakeholders with the most up-to-date information for informed decision-making.

 

By working in tandem, Metal Toad and Evergent established a collaborative and iterative process that addressed immediate data presentation challenges and laid the foundation for sustainable, data-driven decision-making within the organization.
