What is PhoneGap?

PhoneGap is a mobile development framework that enables programmers to create mobile/desktop apps with a single, shared code base. Rather than coding your product for Apple iOS, then coding it again for Android, then once again for Mac OSX, then another time for Windows 7, PhoneGap lets you just build it once in HTML5 and be done. PhoneGap currently supports Apple iOS, Android, webOS, Windows Mobile, Nokia Symbian OS and BlackBerry. Open Source projects extend this support to include Windows 7 and Mac OSX.
