Oracle features, such as streams, also allow for sophisticated and flexible data storage architectures using logical and physical standby databases.

• Interoperability - Almost all development languages will interface with an Oracle database, ensuring that you can choose the correct language for a particular development task, without limitation. There are also many third-party tools available to facilitate common database development tasks, such as ETL, within Oracle.
