The benefit of creating a custom CMS application is that you can create a system that fits your workflow, rather than fitting your workflow to the system. Out of the Box Content Management Solutions
If your content management needs are more flexible, or you have a short development window, it is often useful to consider an “out of the box” solution for your needs. There are a number of programs that you could choose, but the current best of breed solution in open source is the Drupal content management framework.
At its simplest, a Drupal based content management solution is relatively easy to install and already provides a number of features. However, the strength of a Drupal content management solution is in its robust functionality that is being constantly expanded by the development of third party modules. Using these Drupal modules, we can customize the application to fit your content management needs. And if necessary, we can create custom Drupal modules for a specific application.
