Metal Toad Media's goal has always been to provide comprehensive web and technology solutions to new and existing businesses, who realize the importance and complexity of the internet as a business environment.
Metal Toad Media started as a web development company in 1999, just in time to see (and survive) the dotcom crash. In 2005, Metal Toad Media merged with an existing strategic business partner, Blue Surge in order to increase its internal staff and technical expertise to meet the growing demand for services.
Since then Metal Toad Media has continued to grow and innovate, merging with Gravitate Design at the beginning of 2007. With the merger Metal Toad Media has added high-end design and search engine optimization to it's offering - backed by more than 20 years of collective experience.
Joaquin Lippincott
Principal
Joaquin Lippincott is a veteran internet business owner with a background in web development. Throughout his career he has worked as a web designer, programmer and manager which has given him a breadth of experience he applies at Metal Toad Media. Over the years has worked with industry leaders such as Verizon Wireless, 76 Lubricants, 20th Century Fox Studios, American Suzuki Motors as well as numerous internet start ups. With over 9 years of experience in his field he is still as passionate about the internet as ever.
Michael Parker
Principal
Entreprenuership began at an early age for Michael Parker. As a teenager, he started a neighborhood landscaping business, employing his childhood buddies and "borrowing" his Dad's lawn mower. His enterprising nature inevitably led him to earn his MBA from Arizona State University, where he also received an MS in Computer Information Systems. His involvement with Metal Toad Media was a natural extension of his lifelong passion for marketing and business. As Metal Toad's resident search engine guru, Michael helps companies get found and stay on top.
Cyndi Nguyen
Creative Director
It's hard to explain how a Psychology Major from Yale University ended up as Creative Director for an interactive agency, but to folks around here, it makes perfect sense. Successful design is at its core intuitive, universally appealling, and dirt simple to use - so understanding what truly motivates users helps keep dysfunctional designs in check. At Metal Toad, Cyndi leads design with a keen eye on web usability. She's passionate about clean design, smart site engineering, and good ol' fashioned creativity.
Sam LaRoe
Project Manager
Sam comes to Metal Toad Media with a diverse educational and business background, with an emphasis on sales and customer service that is second to none. Degrees in literature and history give him the interpretive skills to parse out the difference between what a project requirement says and what it actually means. As a project manager, his most vital function as keeping open the lines of communication between clients and developers in order that the development path stays as true as possible to the original vision of the project. Not to mention, on time and on budget.
